About This Position

The Clinic Registered Nurse provides individualized care to patients and their families according to established standards, policies, and procedures. Patient populations may include infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. Individualized care may include in-person, virtual, and telephonic visits.

Education

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Oncology - OCN preferred.


Experience

  • 1-2 years of nursing experience
  • 1 year of population-specific nursing experience preferred, i.e., cardiology, antithrombotic, or infectious disease.
  • Ability to be anticipatory to the needs of the patient; take initiative, self-motivated and a proactive, independent, accountable and dependable performer.
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information (both in written and oral form) clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate for the audience.
  • Ability to be accountable for quality patient care and quality customer service and respond appropriately to a variety of personalities and situations.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing principles and practice.

JOB DESCRIPTION HealthPartners North Suburban Family Physicians has an exciting opportunity for a Triage RN to join our team! This .80 fte position will be based at our Lino Lakes clinic with potential for coverage at our Roseville or Hugoclinics. This position will work in clinic Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday days (start time between 7:45am – 8:30am and end time between 4:15pm – 5pm). This position provides triage support for our clinic at the North Suburban Family Physicians clinics by using protocols embedded in the electronic medical record and a variety of resources including standing orders and protocols. This position also includes occasionally working with patients that have questions or needs once on-site . In addition, this role provides comprehensive assessments to establish and evaluate a plan of care and address changes in a patient’s condition, delegates nursing tasks when appropriate and provides supervision and monitoring of function or activity, creates and implements dynamic teaching plans based upon identified patient need and acts as a resource for other staff.
