Hours: 7:00 am - 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm- 7:30 am

 

$15,000 Sign-on Bonus!

 

Pay: Starting at $38.64 per hour

($3.00 shift differentials for nights and $3.00 for weekends)

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the physician and their preceptor, you will assure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.
  • Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of the patients/families.
  • Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals and discharge planning.
  • Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
  • Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate and timely.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited program for registered nursing.
  • Valid State RN License required.
  • BLS required at hire.
  • Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program

Under direct RN supervision and in accordance with the policies, procedures and guidelines established within the organization, unit and the Nurse Practice Act, follows the professional nurse core orientation pathway and participates in managing the care delivery for patients in the hospital throughout the length of stay to achieve quality outcomes and timely discharge by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation; coordinating the care provided by other professionals; delegating selected acts, tasks or functions that fall within the scope of professional nursing practice and the abilities of patient care assistants and universal support assistants; providing selected aspects of physical care within the scope of professional nursing practice as appropriate given the patient's level of acuity and complexity of care required; and documenting and communicating during each tour of duty the patient's response to care provided, consumption of resources and anticipated needs.
