Responsibilities

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Dartmouth Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care on a per diem basis. In this dynamic setting, you will evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute conditions for both adult and pediatric patients, including those in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) guided by evidence-based protocols.

 

A minimum of one year of direct APP experience in an acute,

urgent care, or emergency care setting is required.

Required Licensure/Certifications

The APP will function as an integral member of a multidisciplinary surgical team providing high-acuity inpatient, consultative, and ambulatory care within a tertiary academic medical center. This position includes evaluation and management of emergency general surgery patients, perioperative care, procedural support, coordination of care across services, and participation in a weekly outpatient clinic focused primarily on postoperative visits and selected new patient evaluations.
