Demonstrates ability to appropriately set up for a surgical/ endo procedure and follow protocol in the counting of supplies/instrument to ensure no foreign object is left inside of the patient. Understands the principles of and is able to competently assist a physician during a procedure and possesses adequate knowledge of the procedure itself. Displays the ability to differentiate sutures and their applications. Demonstrates the ability to follow through until problems are addressed or corrected.
