We are hiring an MA at our South location. This position responsible for assisting providers and the nursing team in the delivery of professional medical care. Specific duties include pre-visit planning, rooming patients, obtaining & documenting vitals, utilizing the EMR system. Scanning and downloading of documents, administering injections, vaccine coordination, telephone screening (with protocols).

Complete EKGs, phlebotomy, and duties as assigned based on respective clinic need. Incumbent in position must have excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times. Position may float as needed to other clinic practices in metro and outreach location. May participate in mentoring or precepting new employees as needed.

Job Requirements:

Required:

Medical Assistant Certification required (CMA, NRCMA, RMA, CCMA)

BLS Certification required

Preferred:

1 year experience preferred
