Weekend Shift Caregiver

At Right at Home, we are dedicated to providing exceptional in-home care and assistance to seniors and vulnerable adults in our community. As a Weekend Shift Caregiver with our team, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and personalized care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role:

As a Weekend Shift Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care services to our clients. This may include bathing, dressing, and assisting with daily living activities. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, and develop personalized care plans to ensure their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, games, and outings

  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry

  • Offer personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Assist with daily living activities, such as medication management and mobility assistance

  • Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided

  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with clients and families

Requirements:

  • Weekend Shift Caregiver experience preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with transfers and mobility

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if necessary)

  • Ability to pass a background check and possess a valid ID

  • Compassionate and patient approach to caring for seniors and vulnerable adults
