Facility: Community Hospital of Stokes | Location: Danbury, NC | Position Type: Part-Time | Work Schedule: 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., Mid-Shift
What You'll Do
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Administer medications and treatments and monitor changes in resident condition.
- Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Participate in care planning, including Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments.
- Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff.
- Promote safe, high-quality care while maintaining compliance with state, federal and CMS guidelines.
- Support rehabilitation, long-term care, palliative and end-of-life needs as appropriate.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- One year of acute nursing experience required.
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Preferred:
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
