Qualifications:

The wage employment period resets on May 1 of the following year. All wage employees are limited to working no more than 29 hours per week on average over the 12-month period. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Must possess and maintain a valid unrestricted Virginia LPN license issued by the board of nursing or a multi-state compact license (if you are a recent graduate of a nursing program in VA and not licensed, the NCLEX-PN exam must be scheduled at the time of application) Working knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of practical or general nursing care. Demonstrated ability to screen complaints of physical ailments and refer necessary cases to other medical professionals.
