About the Role

Cornell Care & Rehabilitation Center managed by Autumn Lake Healthcare at Overlea is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team. As a Director of Nursing, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our residents while maintaining a high level of quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring that all care is provided in accordance with state and federal regulations
Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that ensure the highest level of care for our residents
Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Recruit, train, and supervise a team of dedicated nurses and caregivers
Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and external partners
Monitor and report on quality metrics, including infection control, falls prevention, and medication management
