Responsibilities The Charge RN is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, including the nursing management of the patient and staff of assigned area in his/her charge. Manages efficient patient flow, appropriate use of supplies and other operational functions. Collaborates with the unit managers and/or directors in developing and revising unit policies, procedures, and protocols. Serves as departmental liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers and staff. Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Qualifications Job Requirements: Associate’s degree or Diploma of Nursing One (1) year of Charge Nurse experience in a hospital setting OR more than one year of clinical or management experience BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire); Preferred Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in nursing. National Certification in clinical specialty care

Responsibilities The Clinical Coordinator directs and supervises the professional and other staff members assigned to the department, supports and interprets the mission of the hospital and promotes harmonious relationships among nursing personnel, medical staff, ancillary departments, patients and families. The Clinical Coordinator provides for the delivery of care to a specific group of patients and evaluates the quality of that care in a systematic fashion, in orde r to improve care. The care is delivered within the framework of hospital philosophy and approved budget, and in concert with other departments and services within and outside of the hospital. The Coordinator must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Qualifications Job Requirements: Graduate of an approved school of nursing . Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice in the state of New Mexico. At least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in the department specialty.
