What We Offer Department: Critical Care Transport Location: Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC Schedule: Full-Time, Nightshift (3pm-3am) - Self Scheduling Critical Care Transport is a highly specialized team responsible for safely transporting critically ill or injured patients between healthcare facilities while providing advanced critical care throughout the transport. Rather than caring for multiple patients on a hospital unit, you'll focus your attention on one critically ill patient at a time, ensuring they remain stable while receiving the interventions they need during transport. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy critical care, thrive under pressure, and want to practice with a high level of autonomy while working alongside an experienced transport team. What You'll Do The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death. The Registered Nurse utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey.
