The Opportunity

• Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
• Previous ED experience preferred.
• New grads welcome to apply.
• Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, PALS and BLS are required.
• Current IL state license is a plus.
• Nocturnist opportunity.

The Practice

Advocate Sherman Medical Center – Elgin, Illinois

• 250-bed community hospital with a 45-bed Emergency Department.
• Level II Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Primary Stroke Center.
• Diverse patient mix including 1/3 of the PEDS cases in the Illinois Advocate system.
• Annual volume of 65,000 with a 20% admit rate.
• Full sub-specialty backup with 24-hour social work, intensivists, anesthesiologists, and OB.
• An established Vituity site focused on throughput and quality.
• 2023 Lantern Award Recipient.
