At Big Sky Rehabilitation Hospital we strive to attract, retain, develop, and empower our employees, supporting them in their professional growth with career advancement opportunities and a path to success within our organization.

We have a great Full-Time opportunity for a Night Shift Patient Care Technician in Billings, MT.

Big Sky Rehabilitation Hospital in Billings, Montana is a freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital dedicated to helping patients recover, regain independence, and return to the highest level of function possible following serious illness, injury, surgery, or other complex medical conditions.

As a regional center of excellence for inpatient rehabilitation, we provide comprehensive, individualized care to patients who require intensive rehabilitation and ongoing medical management before they are ready to return home or transition to the next level of care. Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively with each patient and their family to establish meaningful goals and create a personalized plan for recovery.

Our inpatient rehabilitation program includes Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), with patients participating in an intensive therapy program designed to maximize functional recovery. Our clinical team provides 24-hour nursing care and physician oversight, allowing us to safely care for patients with complex medical needs while they actively participate in their rehabilitation.

We commonly care for individuals recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions, orthopedic injuries and surgeries, amputations, and other disabling illnesses or injuries. Through coordinated medical care, nursing, therapy, case management, and support services, we focus on the whole person—not simply the diagnosis—to help patients rebuild strength, mobility, communication, self-care skills, confidence, and independence.

With private patient rooms and a highly skilled, compassionate team, Big Sky Rehabilitation Hospital creates an environment where patients are challenged, supported, and celebrated throughout their recovery journey. We proudly serve patients and families from our region, helping individuals move from hospitalization toward greater independence and a return to the people, activities, and communities that matter most to them.

At Big Sky Rehabilitation Hospital, our mission is delivering hope and high-quality care through human connection. We believe rehabilitation is about more than completing therapy—it is about helping people reclaim their lives, one milestone and one moment of independence at a time.

As a participating hospital of Ernest Health, we offer robust recognition, wellness, and retention programs.  These programs focus to enhance the employees’ work experience, recognize, and celebrate achievements.  We also encourage employees to share their work experience through “My Ernest Journey” and through our Engagement Survey, where our approach is “You Spoke, We Listened”.  These platforms provide additional avenues for employees to give feedback about their work experience and share what is important to them.
