The MedStar Montgomery Medical Center is a 120-bed full-service ANCC Magnet-recognized facility located in the historic enclave of Olney Maryland, situated nearly equally between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore Maryland, and is part of the 10-hospital MedStar Health system. 

The 12-bed ICU admits a wide array of patient diagnoses ranging from neuro, cardiac, G.I., renal and vascular ailments, to post-operative procedures. As part of an American Heart Association Gold-Plus Certified Primary Stroke Center, the ICU also manages patients recovering from acute strokes including those who have received thrombolytic therapy. Nurses work 12-hour day or night shifts (non-rotating) and participate in self-scheduling. Nurses are supported each shift with a dedicated charge nurse. Qualifications

  • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
