Working Nursing Supervisor Shift: 11PM-7AM

The Bostonian is a 121-bed skilled nursing facility seeking a Full-Time Night Working Nursing Supervisor. We are located in Dorchester conveniently near public transportation! The right candidates will have strong clinical skills, be a team player and have the ability to lead.

Requirements for Nursing Supervisor:

Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN Massachusetts State License and current CPR certification
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred. -Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care
Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred

Job Duties for Nursing Supervisor:

Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges
Supervise nurses and CNAs
Manage staffing changes
Support family inquiries and screen visitors
Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions
Ensure high-quality resident/patient care
Provide support to ancillary staff as needed
