
Nurse Practitioner - Casual Emergency Medicine - Wyoming, MN
Fairview is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Emergency Medicine team at Fairview Lakes Medical Center.
Practice Details:
- Join a team of 7 APP’s and 15 Physicians
- FTE: Casual
- ED Hours: 10am-6pm, 9am-5pm Saturday/Sunday/holidays
- Urgent Care Hours: 12pm-8pm Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday/Sunday/holidays
- Holidays: Some holidays required
- Fairview Lakes Medical Center is a 65 licensed bed facility and 24 bed ED
- Level IV Trauma Center
- Department sees an average of 77 patients per day
- Annual Emergency Department volumes: 28,000
- Approximately 15% of the Emergency Department visits are pediatrics
- Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a school of nursing and accredited Family Nurse Practitioner training program
- BC/BE through the AANP or ANCC
- Licensed or ability to obtain APRN license with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
- Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required)
- ATLS Certified (Advanced Trauma Life Support). Level 4 Trauma
A minimum of 2 years of NP experience is preferred
Some ED experience is preferred
