What You Will Do to Change Lives 

This supervisory position provides recovery focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. Behavioral Health Specialists and LVNs/LPTs.

 

Shifts Available: 

Part-Time 0.6| PM | Shifts: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM | Days: Friday - Sunday

Expected starting wage range is $34.43 - $42.52. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges.  The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed.  Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. 

 

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have) 

  • Graduation from an accredited LVN or LPT program and current licensure
  • Current CPR/BLS certificate
  • Two (2) years of LVN/LPT experience in health care environment
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment
  • All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. POSITION OBJECTIVE The Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician provides services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. The LVN/LPT provides documentation to the Treatment Team of response to treatment and notifies all parties of clinical changes of condition. QUALIFICATIONS One (1) year of experience in psychiatric nursing in a skilled nursing facility or an acute hospital is preferred. Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician program, and current licensure by the State of California are also required. A valid CPR Certificate is also required. Necessary skills include a demonstrated understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment, knowledge of psychotropic medications and knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the delivery of mental health services in the State of California.
