NHC HealthCare Anniston is seeking a caring and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team. This role provides hands-on nursing care while working closely with nursing leadership and the interdisciplinary team.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care in accordance with physician orders, established plans of care, and applicable nursing standards.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
  • Observe, evaluate, and report changes in patient or resident condition.
  • Complete required nursing documentation accurately and on time.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, patients, residents, and families.
  • Assist in implementing individualized plans of care.
  • Provide direction and support to nursing assistants as appropriate.
  • Follow infection control, safety, regulatory, and NHC policies and procedures.
  • Promote a compassionate and supportive care environment.

Qualifications

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alabama or a current multistate/compact license that permits practice in Alabama.
  • Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
  • Current CPR certification as required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
  • Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.

Sign-On Bonus
