Responsibilities

As an RN Unit Manager, you'll have the opportunity to provide leadership and support to the care team, ensure patient/resident needs are met, and evaluate team performance. You'll also have the chance to work directly with care team members to provide compassionate and professional care.

Qualifications

1. Current license by the State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse with experience in the long-term care industry preferred2. Ability to plan, evaluate and coordinate services.3. Experience in triaging tasks, supervision of nursing team members and coordination of services to provide the optimum resident and patient experience.

Registered Nurse, Pre-Anesthesia - ASC

This may include conducting preoperative assessments such as medical and surgical history, current medications, allergies, lab result review/ordering, and overall anesthesia risk evaluation prior to surgery. Follows the Peri-Anesthesia Testing Guidelines and surgeon orders. In person clinic patients will have complete physical assessments, including VS and weight. Educates patients and their families on the procedure prep, NPO status prior to surgery, medications to take/hold prior to surgery, arrival times, postop support needs, etc. Provide information related to emotional support and counselling to patients and their families as indicated . Collaborates with other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care, including cardiologist, pulmonologist, and primary care physicians . Advocate for and educate patients on preventative care measures, such as regular screenings, balanced nutrition, and exercise. Maintains accurate and detailed records of patients' medical histories, medications, treatments, and progress through the preoperative process. Ensure that all patient records are kept confidential and are up to date. Adheres to all hospital and departmental safety policies and protocols and ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations. Stay updated on the latest advancements in nursing care through continuous learning and professional development. Attend seminars, workshops, and other training sessions as required . Advocates for patients' rights and needs, ensuring they receive the best possible care. Address any patient complaints or concerns, escalating them to management when necessary.
