Caregiver, Shifts 6 to 12 hour, North Scottsdale

JOB SUMMARY:

Home Matters Caregiving is seeking compassionate caregivers who are passionate about providing exceptional in-home care, personal care, companion care, and senior care services to older adults in North Scottsdale and surrounding communities.

Our caregivers play a vital role in helping seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. We are committed to making Home Matters a place where caregivers feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow in their careers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Preferred to have at least 1 year of caregiving experience with the senior population

• Must have sufficient communication and language skills to effectively perform duties

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute client care plans and document daily activities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living

• Provide clients with household assistance: food preparation, monitoring home safety, laundering, light housekeeping

• Provide clients with personal care assistance: hygienic care, mobility assistance, medication assistance, companionship

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: One year of formal caregiving experience in senior care

• Negative drug screen, cleared background screening and work-related references as part of the onboarding process

• Reliable Transportation

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Client homes

• Skilled, Independent and Assisted Living Communities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to lift 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movements

• Able to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingers

• Able to talk, hear and see

• Physically and mentally able to drive a vehicle

COMPENSATION:

Job Type:       Full-time/Part-time

Pay:              Starting at $17/hr, depending on experience
