Langdon Place of Portsmouth is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) to join our nursing team on the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift.

This is a great opportunity for an MNA looking for a consistent 32-hour-per-week schedule with an every other weekend rotation while being part of a supportive, resident-focused team.

Position Details

Position: Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA)
Status: Full-Time
Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Hours: 32 hours per week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend rotation
Location: Portsmouth, NH

What You’ll Do

Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
Accurately document medication administration and resident information
Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the licensed nurse
Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed
Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care
Maintain resident safety, dignity, privacy, and independence
Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the care team
Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements
Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional resident care

Qualifications

Current New Hampshire MNA license/certification in good standing
Previous senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Compassionate, reliable, and resident-focused
Ability to work 3:00 PM–11:00 PM with an every other weekend rotation
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) the primary purpose of your job position is to provide your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with our established nursing care procedures, and as may be directed by the licensed staff nurse.
