Home Health Aide Recruiter

Rockland & Westchester Counties, NY

We are seeking a motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Home Health Aide (HHA) Recruiter to oversee caregiver recruitment efforts throughout Rockland and Westchester Counties.

The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder who understands the home care industry, enjoys being out in the community, and can consistently develop new sources for qualified Home Health Aide candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit qualified Home Health Aides (HHAs) throughout Rockland and Westchester Counties.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, training programs, workforce centers, and other referral sources.

  • Attend job fairs, community events, recruiting events, and local outreach opportunities.

  • Conduct grassroots recruiting and identify new sources of caregiver candidates.

  • Screen and follow up with candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process.

  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified HHA candidates.

  • Consistently meet established weekly and monthly recruitment goals.

  • Track recruiting activity and submit accurate weekly recruitment reports.

  • Work closely with HR, onboarding, scheduling, and operations to help move candidates from application to active employment.

  • Maintain timely communication with candidates and management.

  • Identify recruiting challenges within each county and develop strategies to improve results.

Qualifications

  • Previous home care, healthcare, staffing, or high-volume recruiting experience strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of Rockland and Westchester Counties and their surrounding communities is preferred.

  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.

  • Goal-oriented and comfortable working with measurable recruiting targets.

  • Highly organized with strong follow-up and reporting skills.

  • Comfortable conducting community outreach and working independently in the field.

  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred due to local travel.
