Langdon Place of Portsmouth is seeking compassionate and dependable Medication Nursing Assistants (MNAs) to join our nursing team on a Per Diem basis.

This is a great opportunity for MNAs looking for flexibility and the ability to pick up shifts that work with their schedule. We currently have Per Diem opportunities available across all three shifts.

Available Shifts

  • 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

  • 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

  • 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

What You’ll Do

  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies

  • Accurately document medication administration and resident information

  • Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the licensed nurse

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed

  • Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care

  • Maintain resident safety, dignity, privacy, and independence

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the care team

  • Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements

  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional resident care

Qualifications

  • Current New Hampshire MNA license/certification in good standing

  • Previous senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare experience preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused

  • Flexibility to pick up shifts based on facility needs

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Haverhill is hiring full-time and part-time CNAs! Weekly pay! $21 to $26 an hour, depending on the shift. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) the primary purpose of your job position is to provide your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with our established nursing care procedures, and as may be directed by the licensed staff nurse. Demonstrate correct safety techniques in accord with orientation and training processes of Athena and your specific job description. Other duties assigned by manager. Specific Requirements: Must have knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies and utilize appropriately. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public. Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel. Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents. Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
