Overview

Responsibilities

General Clinical Practice

Performs all assigned patient care responsibilities according to the standards of care at NLH and within the scope of practice established for LNAs.
Demonstrates the skills necessary to provide age appropriate care to the population served.
Documents care provided using hospital standards.
Reinforces education to patients and families.
Reports any untoward symptoms or changes to appropriate RN/LPN.
Monitors the patient environment to assure that it is safe and free from hazards.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited LNA program
0-1 year relevant clinical practice
Hospital experience preferred

Required Licensure/Certifications

REQUIRED LICENSE(S): • LNA - NH or temp LNA - NH REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: • (BLS) Basic Life Support

Overview Our Academic Medical Center has expanded to meet the inpatient psychiatric care needs of adolescent patients in our rural New England region. Our six-bed Adolescent Medical Psychiatric Care unit provides specialized, patient-and-family centered care for adolescents ages 12-17. The interdisciplinary team supports patients through comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, psychiatric care, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and family therapy. We are seeking an LNA passionate about supporting adolescents during a critical time in their lives.
