Job Requirements

Our Registered Nurses provide high quality patient care to patients suffering from the most advanced stage of chronic kidney disease, known as End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient. This role is all about the relationships and bond you will create with patients and their families.

Work Experience

Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); three year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
Registered Nurse License in the state of practice.
Current BLS/CPR certification required.
Meets all applicable state/licensing requirements.
Previous dialysis, ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg nursing experience is preferred but not required.

The primary purpose of LPN charge Nurse is to provide direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistants. Co-responsible for knowledge of all safety and fire regulations. g. Attend in-service programs, both in and out of the facility, to increase professional competence. h. Obtain sputum, urine and other lab tests as ordered and review results for abnormalities. Take and record blood pressures, etc, as necessary. Monitor seriously ill residents as necessary. Place medication MD orders for all new admissions in the event that the Admission Nurse is not in the building. c. Greet newly admitted residents upon admission. Escort to room as necessary. d. Participate in the orientation of new residents/family members to the facility. e. Follow up next morning to ensure all meds delivered or not delivered are addressed with appropriate hold order.
