Riverview Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses for seasonal opportunities in our specialty areas. This is a great opportunity for experienced nurses looking for a short-term assignment while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Contract Details:

  • 12-week seasonal assignment
  • Contract dates: October 18, 2026 – January 9, 2027
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • Candidates must be available for the duration of the seasonal contract

Responsibilities

  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
  • The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients.
  • He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patients clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
  • Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:  

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

 

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus: 

  • Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred
  • Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
  • Ventilator Management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
