Part-Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Opportunity! Washington, PA 
At MedMark, we take a patient-centered approach to opioid addiction treatment. In the first days of treatment, we’ll design an individualized plan that’s suited to your needs. We don’t just offer rehabilitation counseling and methadone treatment, MedMark clinics also provide physical evaluations, drug screenings, case management services, relapse prevention education, and after-care planning. Additionally, certain clinic locations offer methadone detox, buprenorphine maintenance, and group counseling. All of our services focus on helping you achieve long-term sobriety to enhance your wellbeing and improve your quality of life.Job Responsibilities: 
  • Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment 
  • To obtain a history and physical exam 
  • Documentation into the EMR, entering orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or writing a buprenorphine prescription 
  • To authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medication by medical staff in the Medical Director’s absence. 
  • Consistently monitoring patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses 
  • Other related duties as determined by supervisor 
Position Requirements:  
  • Must be a Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in good standing with the State of WA
  • Must be able to interact compassionately with a diverse population
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Work is performed in a physician office or offices dedicated to Primary Care, weekend, and on-call coverage on a rotational basis, as required. Essential Responsibilities Provides appropriate patient care to include recording patient medical history and physical assessment, developing therapeutic care plan, ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting test results, providing accurate medical record documentation. 25% Communicates and coordinates patient care with patient, family, community health services and interdisciplinary team. Involves attending physician regarding plan of care and involves physician in clinical decision making of any issues that are outside the CRNP's knowledge base or scope of practice. 15% Provides monitoring and continuity of care and coordinates periodic evaluation by physicians as defined in the written agreement between the CRNP and the supervising physician(s).10% Prepares written prescription orders for drugs and controlled substances, administers medication and injections, sutures wounds and provides wound care10% Educates patients and family members regarding health and preventive medicine, medications prescribed, treatment instructions and recommends community resources as appropriate.10% Triages patient telephone calls, provides monitoring and continuity of care10% Participates, develops, and implements performance and/or quality improvement initiatives.
