Autumn Lake Healthcare at Riverview is seeking an experienced LPN/RN Director of QAPI & Staff Development Nurse to join our leadership team.

This position plays an important role in supporting quality improvement, regulatory compliance, staff education, and clinical excellence throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is an experienced LPN or RN who is organized, knowledgeable, and passionate about developing staff and maintaining high standards of resident care.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the facility's Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives

  • Monitor quality measures, trends, and areas of opportunity and assist with developing corrective action plans

  • Coordinate and provide staff education, orientation, and ongoing clinical training

  • Ensure education and training programs remain aligned with regulatory requirements and facility standards

  • Work closely with nursing leadership and department heads to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Support survey readiness and ongoing regulatory compliance

  • Track required competencies, education, and staff development initiatives

  • Promote a positive learning environment focused on quality, accountability, and resident-centered care

Qualifications:

  • Current LPN or RN license in good standing

  • Previous experience in QAPI, Quality Assurance, Staff Development, or nursing leadership preferred

  • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred

  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to skilled nursing facilities preferred
