As a Certified School Nurse (CSN), you will utilize your clinical and communication skills to serve students with diverse health needs and collaborate with educators, counselors, and families throughout the full school year.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification required
• Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
• Strong organizational abilities and excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Up-to-date knowledge of school health policies and practices

Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine and emergency nursing care to students and staff
• Manage health records and maintain confidential documentation
• Assess and intervene in student health concerns during school hours
• Administer medications and manage medical needs for students with chronic conditions
• Serve as a health educator promoting wellness and prevention activities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and outside care providers to develop health plans and support individual student needs
• Monitor immunizations and facilitate screenings as mandated by state or district guidelines
