Novant Health Rowan Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our 36-bed Medical-Surgical Unit!
This unit provides care for a diverse patient population with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including infections, chronic illnesses, post-operative recovery, and other complex medical needs. Nurses develop strong skills in patient assessment, medication management, wound care, care coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment ideal for an RN who enjoys variety, building strong patient relationships, and providing exceptional patient-centered care.

What You'll Do
- Provide safe, compassionate care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population while managing multiple patients with varying levels of acuity.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and treatments, and monitor patients for changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, therapists, case management, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate individualized patient care.
- Educate patients and families, assist with discharge planning, and promote a safe environment throughout the patient’s stay.
What We're Looking For
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
