Pay range (depending on experience): $25.00-$27.00 hourly    Schedule/Shift: Monday- Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm   Territory/Location: North Orange County 

Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care including: baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, changing bed linen
  • Assisting patients with dressing and undressing
  • Skin care to prevent breakdown
  • Assisting the patient with toileting activities
  • Keeping patient’s living area clean and orderly, as appropriate
  • Assisting patient in the self-administration of medication.
  • Adhering to the Organization's documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct.
  • Must meet position productivity expectations as determined based on business need.
Qualifications:
  • Valid state Home Health Aide & Nursing Assistant Certifications (CHHA & CNA).
  • Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired.
  • Current BLS & CPR certification.
  • Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
  • Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance.

Our 18-bed ARU is designed for people who have experience the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness and like the LTACH, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. Job Summary Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of professional nursing personnel. Essential Functions Consults with and keeps supervisor informed of unit activities, needs, and problems related to patient care.
