Responsibilities

Serve as the local chief executive agent. Lead the local provider(s) in a better way to care for the community in which it serves, and contribute to the overall success of the company. Ensure the execution of operations are completed daily. Manage operations, services, personnel performance, and office management ongoing.

Qualifications

  • Required licensed physician, registered nurse, or possess a bachelor’s degree.
  • Required to not have been employed in the last year as an administrator with another operation at the time any enforcement action was taken against the business; further described in the company compliance policies.
  • Required to have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of federal, state and local laws and regulatory guidelines that govern the operation of a home care office.
  • Required to have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
  • Required to have and maintain a valid state driver license in the current state of residence
  • Required to have and maintain automobile liability insurance, as required by law.
  • Required ability to travel by person vehicle up to 25% of the time.
  • Preferred licensed physician, registered nurse, licensed social worker, licensed therapist, or licensed nursing home administrator.
    • If clinical:
    • Required to have and maintain a valid clinical license, per state requirements, or in accordance with the board of nursing rules for a compact nurse license.

  • Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially MS office, including word, powerpoint, and excel.
  • Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other position objectives.

Overview Shift Available: Nights Employment Type: Part-Time Hours: 7:00pm-7:00am (12-hour shifts) Location: St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO We are seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN), sometimes referred to as a Telemetry RN or Tele RN. A Tele RN specializing in attending to patients within our telemetry units, including those needing cardiac monitoring. The Tele RN will monitor and interpret our patient's vital signs, such as heart rate, heart rhythm, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation level. Continuous monitoring of patients, by the Telemetry RN enables gathering real-time data to make informed decisions regarding patient care, ensuring early detection of abnormalities or changes in the patient's condition. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Recognizes signs of abuse and reports appropriately to the hospital social worker and/or Adult / Child Protective Services. Familiar with the EMTALA Regulations. Responsible for the observation and direction of patient lifts, mobilization, and shall participate as needed in patient handling. Attends and maintains mandatory training in safe patient handling, trained in safe lifting techniques, includes but not limited to 1) Appropriate use of lifting devices and equipment, 2) Five areas of body exposure: vertical, lateral, bariatric repositioning and ambulation, 3) Use of lifting devices to handle patients safely. Uses professional judgment and clinical assessment in safe patient handling that are consistent with Safe Patient Handling policies. Uses two patient identifiers consistently when drawing lab, administering medications and performing procedures. Follows medication reconciliation policy consistently. Does not use unacceptable abbreviations in documentation (uses read back on all telephone orders.) Monitors authentication and validation of telephone orders within 24 hours by the physician. Ensures consistently that all clinical alarms, i.e. cardiac monitors are set with the appropriate parameters for the patient and are audible at all times.
