Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Department: Progressive Care Unit Work Hours: Full-Time. 3 12 hour shifts/week, rotating days and nights. Weekends and holidays as assigned. Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. For a Graduate Nurse this will be under the supervision of an experienced registered nurse. Requirements Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required and a valid Pennsylvania temporary practice permit for GN. Within six months of hire date, the Graduate Nurse must complete the licensing examination. Basic Cardiac Life Support. ACLS (must obtain within 6-month introductory period). Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing. Two years of acute care nursing experience and two years of Telemetry experience. Certification in this specialty area.

ICU

Registered Nurse - Critical Care

DEPARTMENT: Critical Care WORK HOURS: (3) 12 hour shifts per week; nights only; every other weekend & holidays. Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. Requirements Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. One year recent experience in any of the following specialties: Critical Care, Cath lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit or Emergency Department or two years of telemetry nursing experience. Will consider three years of experience in Medical Surgical Nursing. Preferred: Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing. Two years of acute care nursing experience or one year of Critical Care nursing experience. Certification in this specialty area. * In the absence of qualified candidates in the above referenced areas, will consider applicants with Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Applicable training and orientation will be provided.

Med-Surg

Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit

Department: Medical Surgical Unit Work Hours: Full-Time.12 hour shifts rotating between days and nights, every other weekend, holidays as required Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. For a Graduate Nurse this will be under the supervision of an experienced registered nurse. Requirements Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required and a valid Pennsylvania temporary practice permit for GN. Registered Nurse - Emergency

Department: Emergency Work Hours: Full Time position working 36 hours per week, 3 12 hour shifts. Rotating days/evening/nights, steady nightshifts available if preferred. Requires rotating weekend and holiday coverage as per time and attendance policy. Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. Requirements Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. One year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience or two years of telemetry nursing experience. Will consider three years of experience in Medical Surgical Nursing. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Advanced Cardiac Life Support must obtain within 6-month introductory period. Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within one year of start date. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing. Two years of acute care nursing experience and two years of Emergency Department experience.
