Registered Nurse/Graduate Nurse - Telemetry

Department: Level 3 Work Hours: (3) 12 hour shifts per week, primarily rotate days and nights, weekends and holidays Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. For a Graduate Nurse this will be under the supervision of an experienced registered nurse. Requirements Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required and a valid Pennsylvania temporary practice permit for GN. Within six months of hire date, the Graduate Nurse must complete the licensing examination. Basic Cardiac Life Support. ACLS (must obtain within 6-month introductory period). Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing. Two years of acute care nursing experience and two years of Telemetry experience. Certification in this specialty area.

Registered Nurse - Emergency

Department: Emergency Work Hours: 20 hours per week, 8 and 12 hour shifts; primarily day and evening hours, every other weekend and holiday requirement. Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. Requirements Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. One year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience or two years of telemetry nursing experience. Will consider three years of experience in Medical Surgical Nursing. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Advanced Cardiac Life Support must obtain within 6-month introductory period. Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within one year of start date. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing. Two years of acute care nursing experience and two years of Emergency Department experience. Certification in ED specialty area.

Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Provides professional nursing care practicing legal nursing responsibilities as indicated by the Nurse Practice Act. Requirements Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing, current Pennsylvania licensure, other state licensure as required. Basic Cardiac Life Support. Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 6-month introductory period. Minimum one year Labor & Delivery or Obstetrical experience. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Preferred Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing. Two years of acute care nursing experience and two years of Maternal Child Health/Labor & Delivery/Obstetrical experience. Certification in this specialty area.
