Join MD Anderson's Pediatrics - Child & Adolescent Center as a Medical Assistant and play an important role in creating a safe, supportive, and positive experience for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. You'll provide hands-on patient care support while working alongside nurses and other members of the healthcare team in a specialized outpatient environment at one of the world's leading cancer centers.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, Medical Assistant certification/registration, and at least one year of directly related experience, preferably in pediatrics or oncology. You'll also enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, with the option of four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. with a rotating weekday off or five 8-hour shifts from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Education

Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

  • No experience required with completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (including externship/practicum) or U.S. Military medical training

Licenses and Certifications
