Research Nurse Manager - Head & Neck Surgery

The division is made up of 10 specialized academic departments and includes surgeons, advanced practice providers, researchers and our administrative teams. We work closely with our partners across the institution, particularly those in Perioperative Services, and Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine as well as through our committees to make improvements to our operating room processes to provide even better care for our patients. The ideal candidate will be an experienced clinical research professional and registered nurse who combines strong leadership capabilities with deep knowledge of clinical trials. Key Responsibilities Work Assignments and Supervision of Staff Oversees the entire organization and implementation of all study activities and logistics (i.e., obtaining CTRC approval, creation of order sets, medication orders, etc.). Responsible for working one on one with all research staff to implement new studies which includes, training, mentoring and/or assigning mentoring, work schedule, providing training resources, tools, and meeting routinely to assess performance progress.
