Pediatric Specialty Care at Hopewell | Aliquippa/Hopewell, PA12-Hour Night Shifts Available | Night-Shift DifferentialMore Than Three Weeks of Hands-On Pediatric Clinical Training

Build Specialized Pediatric Skills. Make Every Shift Meaningful.

Pediatric Specialty Care at Hopewell is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to care for medically fragile and technology-dependent children in a structured, supportive environment that feels like home.

For more than 20 years, PSC has helped children with complex medical, developmental, and rehabilitative needs achieve greater comfort, independence, and quality of life. As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care, build meaningful relationships with children and families, and work closely with an experienced interdisciplinary clinical team.

This is an opportunity to expand your pediatric nursing skills while benefiting from structured training, clinical support, and the continuity provided by 12-hour shifts.

Structured Pediatric Training from Day One

You will not be expected to step onto the floor without preparation.

After completing General Orientation, every new PSC LPN receives more than three weeks of hands-on clinical training with experienced pediatric nurses before working independently. Training is designed to help you understand the children, their individualized care plans, PSC’s clinical standards, and the specialized skills required to provide safe pediatric care.

You will continue to have access to experienced nurses and interdisciplinary team members as you grow in the role.

Why LPNs Choose Pediatric Specialty Care

  • Specialized pediatric experience: Develop skills caring for children with complex medical and developmental needs.

  • 12-hour shifts: Create greater continuity with the children you support while working fewer days each week.

  • Night-shift differential: Earn additional compensation for eligible night hours.

  • Interdisciplinary practice: Collaborate with RNs, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation professionals, physicians, and child-care specialists.

  • Relationship-based care: Get to know each child’s needs, routines, personality, progress, and family.

  • Clinical development: Receive structured training and ongoing opportunities to strengthen your pediatric nursing capabilities.

  • Team support: Work in an environment where communication, preparation, and collaboration are essential to safe care.

Who Will Thrive Here? This opportunity may be a strong fit for LPNs who:

  • Want to develop or expand their pediatric nursing experience.

  • Value structured training and support before working independently.

  • Enjoy the rhythm and continuity of 12-hour shifts.

  • Are attentive, dependable, and calm in a medically complex environment.

  • Communicate clearly and work well with an interdisciplinary team.
