Job Description:

Augusta Family Medicine, a hospital-employed, outpatient Family Medicine practice in Augusta, Maine is recruiting for a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for a full-time NP or PA to assist in meeting the healthcare needs of the community.

In this role, you will:

  • provide team-based care in collaboration with the practice medical staff, care management, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a licensed clinical social worker.
  • provide daily patient care including new patient appointments, transition of care, acute visits and more!
  • assist the triage team with clinical patient questions and concerns.
  • assist the medical staff with tasks related to patient care.

Direct clinical experience as a PA or NP is strongly preferred, however we will consider a new graduate with extensive, related experience. This is a Monday through Friday position.
