What You'll Do

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to support the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering direct nursing care and monitoring resident health
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Performing wound care and other skilled nursing procedures within the LPN scope of practice
Monitoring, documenting, and communicating changes in resident condition
Assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborating with physicians, Registered Nurses, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals
Promoting a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina
Current CPR certification (First Aid preferred)
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
A compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach to resident care

There are no weekends, holidays or call associated with the position. Pay Range: $24.10 - $36.15 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Orthopedics Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state in which the team member practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days unless department leader has determined it is not required. Education Required: Completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing. Experience Required: No experience required. Completes routine maintenance and quality monitoring of clinic equipment using appropriate technique when cleaning, sterilizing and caring for instruments and other equipment. Participates in patient centered initiatives, care management, performance and quality improvement activities. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
