Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

 

  • Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state  regulations.

 

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required

RN/LPN – Ventilator Home Care

$27 - $40 / hour
NurseCore is seeking a qualified and experienced nurse with recent, hands-on ventilator experience and the ability to provide independent care for patients with ventilators and G-tubes. Pay: RN: $40/hr. LPN: $27/hr. What You’ll Do: Provide hands-on ventilator monitoring and G-tube care. Assess patient status, identify changes in condition, and respond appropriately to respiratory needs and vent alarms. Follow individualized care plans and physician orders while providing safe, independent care in the home. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the clinical care team to support quality outcomes. Requirements: Active RN or LPN license in Nevada.
