Job Responsibilities

Personal Care

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, feeding, and personal hygiene
Promote independence while ensuring client safety, dignity, and comfort
Provide attentive, personalized care based on each client's individual needs

Cognitive Support

Support clients living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other memory-related conditions
Use proven caregiving techniques to manage behaviors, reduce anxiety, and provide emotional reassurance
Encourage engagement and meaningful daily routines

Companionship & Homemaking

Prepare meals and assist with proper nutrition and hydration
Provide medication reminders
Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support
Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a safe, clean home environment
Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and well-being
Deliver compassionate, respectful care to all clients, including veterans and their families
