How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Assists pediatric cardiologists and radiologists during high-risk endovascular and interventional procedures in a specialized acute care setting.
- Manages pediatric conscious sedation, continuous airway monitoring, and real-time hemodynamic status during complex interventional cases.
- Prepares pediatric-specific emergency equipment, sterile fields, and specialized endovascular devices tailored to infants, children, and teens.
- Delivers pre- and post-procedure care, managing vascular access sites, recovery, and parent/guardian education to ensure safe patient outcomes.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
