As a Part-Time (24 hours per week) Health Center Manager Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Austin, TX. 

This part-time schedule will be for 24 set hours per week. Optimally, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, however, can be flexible based on availability, but must be the same set schedule every week.

*This position is expected to start in March 2027

What You'll Do
  • Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance.
  • Oversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (typically composed of RNs, LPNs, administrative, and technical staff).
  • Allocates time to patient care and technical expertise as needed.
  • Monitors patient flow, patient utilization and penetration.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determines root cause analysis.
  • Serves as infection control lead, collaborates on quality initiatives and maintains compliance with regulations.
  • Communicates corporate policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives.
  • Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and complaint resolutions.
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Current license as an NP in practicing state.
  • Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S) may be required for some sites.
  • Current hands on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
  • 103 NP may be required (California Only)

Experience: 

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the medical field.
  • 2 – 3 years’ management experience.
  • Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices.

Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Excellent computer skills (Internet software, spreadsheet, word processing etc.).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and work flow management skills.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Training skills preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.

Overview: In collaboration with patients, families (as defined by the patient) and staff across all disciplines and departments is responsible for providing direct and appropriate clinical care and treatment to patients in the area of clinical specialization under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician.
