The Registered Nurse delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service while ensuring population-specific patient care.

  • Oversees nurses and allied health staff in their daily practice.
  • Prescribes, coordinates, evaluates and delivers patient care through collaborative efforts with members of the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care and practices.
  • Directs and guides patient and family teaching.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSN Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • State of Florida RN license
  • One (1) year of Medical Surgical experience. Any combination of relevant education, work experience, and/or certifications will be considered.
  • Must have current BLS and ACLS certification.
