To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

  • As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license;

  • Prior Licensed Practical Nurse experience in a skilled nursing home facility is preferred.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you are the backbone of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Bella Terra LaGrange by ensuring residents receive the medication and nursing care they need as directed by their individual care plan, conducting resident assessments, being a team leader, and advocating for your residents. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

How you make a difference The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in patient care by contributing to the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Attends mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to policies and procedures in providing high-quality patient care. Experience Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience Licenses/Certifications Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
