About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Weekend Supervisor every other weekend at the Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents and supervise a team of skilled nurses during weekend hours. Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants during weekend hours

  • Conduct rounds to ensure that residents are receiving quality care and address any concerns or issues that may arise

  • Collaborate with other departments, including Rehabilitation, Social Services, and Dietary, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the IDT

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and services provided

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and activities

  • Provide education and training to staff members to ensure they are knowledgeable and skilled to provide high-quality care

  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting, with a strong preference for experience in a supervisory role

  • Ability to work every other weekend

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required Medical / surgical nursing experience Current state licensure to practice within good standings. Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS/BCLS certification. Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
