Job Summary and Qualifications


What you will do in this role:

  • You will perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the critically ill patient with Congenital Heart Disease and/or Surgery
  • You will organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. This plan will be individualized, family centered and holistic
  • You will maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
  • You will participate in CHSU initiatives and process improvement
  • You will incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice

What qualifications you will need:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  •  BSN required 
  • Must have 1 year recent Pediatric ICU RN experience in an acute care hospital 
  • CCRN Preferred

Work Schedule: 3 days per week, 7a-7p/Rotating Weekends As a Med-Tele Clinical Nurse Coordinator at our facility, you will practice within our progressive care unit featuring a 31-bed inpatient unit in the North Patient Tower. You will support acute care services including telemetry, ECG monitoring, and respiratory support. Job Summary and Qualifications What you will do in this role: You will be responsible for coordinating the nursing care of assigned patients in the Unit in order to provide quality patient care.
