The qualified Certified Medication Technician (CMT) candidate for this position must be a team player, able to follow oral and written instructions, be capable of charting accurately in the Patient Care Record and possess a pleasant and cheerful personality.

Med Tech Shift Supervisor

Med Tech Shift Supervisor Job Type: Full-Time / Shift Work Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and proactive Med Tech Shift Supervisor to oversee shift operations within our Nursing Department under the direction of the Director of Nursing. In this role, you will lead shift caregivers, coordinate resident healthcare needs, ensure smooth daily routines, and maintain a safe, high-quality care environment for our residents. Key Responsibilities Directly supervise shift personnel, facilitate shift handoffs, and foster a supportive, team-oriented culture. Oversee response times to resident alerts, track daily/weekly/monthly vitals, and ensure ADL and shower schedules are followed. Log events using Matrix software, manage menu/dining room workflows, and re-order medications as needed. Conduct daily/monthly safety checks of the home and grounds, participating in quality improvement initiatives. Cover open floor assignments as needed and participate in shared on-call duties. Qualifications Prior experience as a Med Tech or Caregiver with supervisory/lead experience preferred. Basic computing skills and familiarity with electronic health records (experience with Matrix is a plus).
