How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Lead the delivery of compassionate, direct bedside care by following established clinical protocols to ensure optimal patient safety and outcomes.
  • Create, manage and continuously evaluate individualized care plans while monitoring patient condition and communicating vital status changes to the clinical team.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator across all medical disciplines to deliver a seamless, collaborative healthcare experience.
  • Execute physician and nursing orders accurately while evaluating, planning and coordinating efficient discharge transitions alongside the broader care team.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
