Patient Population: Adult Cardiology, Electrophysiology and Vascular patients 

Status: Full Time Days    Shift: 4/10 Hour Days   (7a - 5:30p)

Call Requirements: One day a week and one weekend every six weeks. Must be within 30min call radius. 

Experience Required:  Minimum 1 year of EP experience AND at least 1 year of supervisory experience or 2 years of charge experience

Number of Beds: 5 total invasive cardiology labs, including 2 electrophysiology labs.

Job Summary

You oversee nursing staff and unit operations in the Catheter Lab. Your goal is to promote positive outcomes for patients and staff by fostering partnership. Your day involves overseeing operations and productivity. You assist the Nursing Manager with planning, developing, and evaluating policies. You also manage budgets and resources. You manage quality improvement initiatives and organize educational programs. You help with administration and provide hands-on nursing care as needed. The goal is to meet department and organizational priorities.

  • Associate's degree.
  • Experience Required:  Minimum 1 year of EP experience AND at least 1 year of supervisory experience or 2 years of charge experience

  • (ACLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support and (BLS) Basic Life Support are required for the job. BLS must be acquired within (30) thirty days.
